Tier 2 (ICT) Dependent to Tier 2 General Main Applicant

Post by PeeBabu » Thu Mar 23, 2017 2:48 pm

Hello, as part of the process to switch from (ICT) dependent to (General) main applicant, I have few queries. Appreciate if any of you can help me..

1. The main applicant (who is currently dependent) needs to travel to India and apply from there. Where as the dependent (who is currently the ICT main applicant), can apply to switch from here. Right..?

2. One of the requirement for T2-G main applicant is police report (if applying after 6 April 2017). Is it needed even if the person who is switching from dependent to main applicant is in the UK for the last 3.5 yrs. And

3. Can we get the report from the UK police even if we the main applicant is applying from India

Thanks, PB

Correct. Main ICT can switch in the UK once partner is back with Tier 2 General.

I have answered what I can. Hopefully someone will be along soon to answer the other two questions.
