Got an immigration enforcement letter

Post by SK engineering » Thu Mar 23, 2017 6:35 pm

Dear Readers,
I have applied for tier 1 entrepreneur for extension. Today I received a letter from enforcement team lettered to my company saying my xx company needs to do employees check on me. But I am the director of the company & I believe, my company allowed to work.

Can anyone advise me please what should I do?

Thanks

Auto generated letter, many other has received the same. Don't worry, wait for your decision.

Does not matter. Under Tier 1E, you are allowed to work for a company where you are a director. These letters are created automatically by HO.

Same to me. Applied Dec 2016, biometric done Jan 2017. Haven't received the decision yet. Today I got a text message and email from HO saying that I have no right to remain in the UK and must now leave the country. A little bit worried.

Hello forum member,

I got a text message from HO today saying "Home Office records show that you may not have permission to remain in the UK. Please contact us at [link removed]. I am quite concerned because I have not received a decision yet on my tier 1 extension application made on 06/01/2017.

Could this be a generic text message from HO? Please I need some answer. Thank you.

Hello Zimmba,

Am so sorry for including a link in my post. It was my first ever post to the board. It won't repeat itself again. However, is the text message a generic message?

Furthermore, I am thinking of contacting HO about it. What do you think?

Your prompt response would be highly appreciated.

Thank you.

It's a normal practice.
Capita used to send these letters and text but now home office send them.
There is nothing to worry about.

As discussed at length in this thread, these are generic automated messages are possibly sent by HO systems. As you applied for your extension, you are perfectly safe and there is absolutely nothing to worry.
You should also be aware of phishing scammers that claim to be HO or any other authority. :!: Always check with HO first if you are in doubt.

Rio16, did you contact HO about the text message you received? and did you get a decision on your application?
