Extension Options

Dear All,
I need help as i am really worried. i am on Tier Ent 1 currently which will expire on 20/12/2017. My business is not performing well i mean its going on loss and trading is not exceptional as well. I have around 8 to 9 Months left for extension. Im not sure i will get extension on my current business. I will complete 9 Years n 3 Months till my current visa. I need to pass nine month more for 10 year route. I have 4 year old son who will be nearly five year when my current visa will expire. Can someone suggest any option to pass 9 months legally after my current visa expires i mean is there any application i can put legally.

Business at a loss is not a problem nor a criteria for extension*. As such your best chance is to continue as t1E and extend.

The issue is (at minimum) will you have 2 years of employment. I assume you applied post Apr 2014** and hence if you do not yet have employees in place you certainly will not extend, if you have in place you need complete 12 months each. If you are pre Apr 2014 you can even hire now 4 people and you can meet criteria

Also did you invest in full? if not do you still have access to the funds?

To be clear there are not many other options. Maybe find a job under T2? Get a study visa? (I know little of other visas besides T1e)

* It is one of many criteria for 'genuine entrepreneur test'
