Medical Treatment question for Visitor Visa Application

Post by SUMEETJ » Sat Apr 01, 2017 11:26 am

Hi Guys,

My mother had a 5 year multiple entry visitor visa which is expiring in April 2017, for which I am looking to renew with a 2 year multiple entry one.

There is a question relating to Medical Treatment which I wanted to have an opinion on if I should answer it s Yes or No.

While she was here in the last trip, in October, had once taken her to my GP. My GP examined her once (there were no prescription, only a urine test which GP performed while we were there). In spite of mentioning it to them that she was on a visitor visa and if we should be paying for it, they mentioned that there are no charges for this. I followed it up with them now and they still insist that it doesn't count as a treatment which needed any payment and there is nothing outstanding in her name.

Other than this, she has never seen any GP / doctor here.

What should the response to the question be? Has anyone had a similar situation & if so, what did they fill in the subsequent visitor visa application?

If I read this below article, it appears that the answer should be No

Appreciate some help here.

You need to answer yes as answering no is in fact not true.

You need to pay the Dr charges and insist with the GP surgery to do so and get a receipt.
