Can I get UK Passport for my baby?

Hi

I am a work permit holder working in UK for the past 4 years and my wife is pregnant due to deliver anytime now, can I apply for British passport fo my child. Please let me know the correct procedure for the same.

Only if your wife is a British or EEA citizen, or either of you have ILR.
