Permanent Residence Card Processing Time 2016

In the same boat, NON EEA husband of an EEA wife who has PR, applied on 30/09/2016, COA on 27/10/2016. Sent then email to the complaints I'd and received a mail today saying it's still under consideration. Had a call back yesterday from a caseworker stating the same, that it's under consideration. I'm a patient man, but this is getting to me. Please update anybody who has applied September or October 2016.

Nothing yet. I am super anxious now! I have called them 6 times in the last 2 weeks and written a complaint, also written to my MP last week, but still nothing. Just keep getting emails from UKBA saying 'thank you for contacting us, your application is under consideration. Should the case-worker require more documents, they will contact me'. I am so worried!!

Its turning out to be a joke. This forum is my only savior, else I would have gone mad! Does the 6 month timeline start from receipt of application or date the Biometrics letter was received? Anybody?

I am counting 6 months from the date you sent the application. I was told on the phone today to give a further 5 working days before chasing them up.

Yeah, I thought so too. My 6 months ended on 30/03/2017, so I waited a few days and started chasing them up. I even requested passports back of mine and my EU wife 12 days ago, but nothing yet. It seems all the October-November 2016 Non -eea applications are taking ages!

biometric on 18/10 and biometric taken on 21/10, COA dated on 23/10 .
And am still waiting ! It's been 6month and 7 days I contact the HO via the help line last week and I just recived email today saying my applection still under consideration .

Any one can share their experience and still waiting for more than 6 month?

Biometric Letter: 02 Nov 2016
Biometric done: 11 Nov 2016
Certificate of Application : 13 Nov 2016 (email and letter)
Requested Passports back on: 29 March 2017
Documents and EEA PR received: 11 April
Non EEA letter saying its aproved and on the way: 11 April

Just checked the post office tracking, and my special delivery is guaranteed to arrive tomorrow! It's on the way!!! I just hope its everything and not just our passports which we requested 15 days ago! Fingers crossed, the postman's gonna have a whiskey shot on me if it arrives!

I have applied for PR - My husband has a valid French passport. I just wanted to know what you wrote under the "reference number" section in the form. I've sent my form already but people are telling me that I should've applied for a visa before my application which would've contained a reference number. I'm not too sure what to believe. Can someone pls help?

Same case here , 6 month and 18 days .
My solicitor saying nothing we can do and we need to wait .
I have called them on 0300 123 2253 few days ago , and after 3 days they sent me email ( kind of automated reply ) saying the applection under consideration ...

Mine took exactly 6 months and 15 days from the time of submission to receipt of the PR letter. My PR card should arrive in 10 working days. Easter has put a halt to things, hopefully you guys get it in this week.
I must say though that a letter to the MP did help.

Hi! This is our timeline:
NON EU Wife and EU Husband
Application submitted : November 15,2016
Money taken: November 16, 2016
Biometric letter for NON EU WIFE: last week of November ( forgot the date )
Biometric submitted: 2 days after
COA: received December 3, 2016
BRP received: April 19, 2017 ( Supposed to be deliver 13 April - but I was at work and DX courier left a card in the house, asking to re schedule the delivery, and it was holy week last week ( bank holiday) so its only TODAY they deliver my BRP
Place and date of ISSUE on my BRP Card : UK 10/4/2017

so all in all.. almost 5 months of waiting ( from the time home office deducted the money- to the issued date written in my BRP card ( 10/4/2017 ) and Valid until 2027

My husband who is EU national- still waiting for his BRP ( surprisingly I got my BRP first than him ) Also, I havent received yet my documents and passport. Hoping to receivd them soon.

Question*** Does BRP normally comes first? then followed by returning all the documents? How long do I have to wait to get all my documents back?
