Has the rental income been declared to HMRC and any tax due paid?Yazzy wrote:How many years self employed history would i need to include my income which self employed letters would i need?
I am self employed and have 2 rental incomes coming in
Based on the figures above, no it does not meet the financial requirement.October £1607.86
November £1476.16
December £1490.48
January £1497.38
February £1416.23
March £2249.28
Do we meet the financial requirement and under which category do we apply in the FLR (m) form?
Check your figures using this calculation. You don't meet the requirements with just his salary. You will need to gather documentation for your rental income and/or savings also.Yazzy wrote:Why not? Isn't category A non salaried
So add the 6 months pay then devide by 6 and then times by 12

There is no requirement that savings must be held in a joint account.Londoner007 wrote:Since you seem to be doing all the running around sorting his application out;, in terms of savings, make sure its in a joint account at the very least as you dont want him to be saving "all his earnings" and then not use it to one day maintain you. Seen lots of cases where spouse saves saves saves and then sends the money back to extended family back home and not use it on new family here. All the best
