Schengen VISA for sporting event

Hi all!

I am going to Gotland this June for the Island Games but I need to secure a VISA.
The problem is, our accommodation and flights as a team (around 200+ people) was booked by our general manager all together and I couldn't get myself any information about the flights (apart from the flight numbers and dates, which will be a private flight) and the accommodation (just the name of the accommodation as only number of people were provided to the hotel). I've only got letters from our sports coach and from the general manager stating these information. Other than that, I've got nothing to support my flight and accommodation. In the letter from my coach, it also indicates things like, I've paid part of the expenses, that I was selected by our island to represent in the event, etc etc.

Could someone please advise if these will be sufficient?

Presumably participation in the Island Games is managed through either the island's or national Olympics Association. Have you tried getting them involved?
