Post by blackeyed » Fri Apr 14, 2017 6:42 pm

Hi all,

I working as a director for my own IT company. Can I hire people on Tier 2 General in my IT company and can they work for my IT client? or do i need to apply for Tier 2 sponsorship license or is there any other way I can recruit people who are already here on Tier 2.

Thanks in advance.

You will need a sponsorship license to hire any person on Tier 2 visa.

And they can only work for you on your payroll, i.e. you cannot be their 'umbrella company' or 'agent', take a % of the pay as 'fees/commission' or send them out to work and they get paid by your 'client'.
