Irish Stamp 4 does help you in the UK. You should have applied for a residence card.

What was the reason for the family permit to the UK refusal??

I am assuming you were trying to use the Surinder Singh route back to the UK?

What date did you arrive in the UK?

We were refused our family permit due to missing documents. We did use the surrinder singh route. I was trying to apply for my residence card but my separation occurred before I could:(
We were refused our family pass in June of 2016 and arrived in the uk in July 2016 once I'd received my Irish residency. Why would they tell me I was allowed to work if I wasn't? This is horrible:(

Don't confuse the advise that the National Insurance line give you (assuming this is what you mean by NIN) to what HO requires in terms of the immigration rules/EEA EU rules.

It's too late to worry about not being confused it seems. Yes I was referring to the national insurance. I wasn't really sure about any of it. I was busy trying to support my wife and took her word for all the steps we took. It seems I am helpless in this. I never meant to break any rules or do anything wrong. I'm devastated. This has completely ruined my life. Thank you for talking to me

How long did you live in Ireland and did your wife exercise her treaty rights?

How long after arriving in Ireland did you apply for an EEA FM?

We lived in ireland for a year. During which we both worked. She also attended school while living there to become a nail technician. She was using her treaty rights. As far as I can remember we had applied for our family pass sometime around the beginning of 2016. We got to Ireland in July of 2015.

She didn't want to appeal or reapply. She just pushed for going to the uk as soon as my Irish residency came through.
