Post by corasson » Mon Apr 24, 2017 8:46 pm

Hi everyone
My husband was granted leave to remain under 5 years parent route. At the time he passed his A1 of the CEFR English test.
Now time has come for his renewal. does he need to pass a new English test???

Thanks in advance

When does his current visa expire?

What date is he planning to apply for his extension?

Thank you very much for your quick reply

His current leave expires on 15 of June so we are planning to send his documents just before the expiring date

Thank you very much

He will need the new A2 English test from an HO approved test centre.

Oh okay

I'm very surprised as I thought he can still use the previous since he was successfully granted leave on that test.
Hopefully we will be able to get him book soon.
Any idea of the test fees?

Thank you very much

£150 I believe, but this may vary depending on the test provider.
