FLR(M) Online Form followed by PSC Appointment - nightmare!

Post by Scoobing » Wed Apr 26, 2017 5:55 pm

Hi

My wife applied for FLR(M) coming off a Tier 5 YMS visa.

We applied online on the 20th April 2017. This is a new online form so not many people seem to have much experience with it. As part of that, we completed and paid for a Premium Service Appointment at Croydon PSC, booked for the 17th May.

Nowhere in any of the guidance notes either online or during the process itself did this issue come up.

Will they consider the "date of application" to be the 20th April 2017? 34G of the immigration rules suggests they will. However we considered the application submission date to be the 17th May 2017 when we go to Croydon, submit photographs, biometrics, the form, evidence etc.

We met the criteria as of the 20th April, but most of our financial evidence, employment letters, authorised copies of payslips etc are dated between 20th April and 17th May.

Will it be an issue that our evidence is not prior to the 20th April. Does the 15-day rule that applies to postal applications apply to ours?

Thanks for any advice you can offer!

No, it should not be an issue.

Thanks very much for your advice.

We just got scared that the online form we are printing out and taking with us on 17th May says application completed 20th April and that no evidence would be accepted after 20th April.

So the fact that most of our evidence is dated between 20th April and 17th May will be ok?

Will they treat the application as being submitted on the 17th May as they would with a paper form?

We regret doing an online form now. We thought it would make things easier...

I have no experience of the online forms as my whole process was paper based forms.

Suggest either wait for others to confirm otherwise you will need to follow the instructions in the form.

Submitted date would then likely be 20th April.

Has anyone had experience with completing the new online form and then attending a premium service centre appointment?

If so, did you have evidence that was dated in between the online form submission and payment date and then the appointment date. Was this an issue?
