HSMP Approved. Now for the Entry Clearance Visa

Hi all,

I had my HSMP approved on 30/11/2007. I will be applying for my entry clearance visa in late March. Just wondering, when will the visa be valid from? Would it be from the date I applied for the Entry Clearance visa or date of issue? and how long would it be valid for?
