10 year route visa payment still not taken after near4 weeks

Good evening
Me and my husband sent off his renewal papers for a 10 years route visa on the Thursday 13/04/2017 and it was received on tuesday 18th due to it been a bank holiday today is tuesday 02/05/2017 And still no payment as been taken ive contacted bank and they are saying that no payment as been attempted and my husbands current visa finishes on the 10/05/2017 as anyone else,had this problems

Likely due to a huge rush of application submissions immediately prior to the fee increase and therefore creates a backlog. It has only been two weeks, suggest be patient. You do realise these applications can take many months. Some members have been waiting for a year or more but of course depends on his various visa categories he has held and various other bits.

He could have applied in person if prepared to pay the extra.
