Application to Residency Permit, Student Years

Post by su5 » Sat May 06, 2017 3:52 pm

Hi all,

I had a question about claiming previous student years in UK for my application.

I came to UK in 2011 to study and ever since then I stayed in UK as an EU citizen. Currently employed.

In the online application, there are only "currently working" and "currently studying" options that apply to me. I clicked both and provided my previous study years although I don't know if its the correct way. Also, I couldn't find a way to add another study year for my MSc. For study years, it also asks about medical insurance. I had European Health Card which expired in 2013, that is not covering my whole study year. But universities always provide health care by enrolling students to their NHS agreed medical centers. I have that medical card, would it be acceptable for this application? Has anyone experienced the same issue like me?

I kindly appreciate all the comments and recommendations in advance.

Thanks

If you did not hold a foreign issued EHIC or comprehensive sickness insurance for the whole period that you were a full time student, these years won't count. NHS is not included in this requirement.
