Indefinite leave to remain for a person granted refugee status or humanitarian protection
339S. Indefinite leave to remain for a person granted refugee status or humanitarian protection will be granted where each of the requirements in paragraph 339R is met.

as I applied for the ILR set (P) last week, I would like to find out if anyone had a refusal for settlement after the new safe review, and the average waiting time for 2017 .

My time schedule is :

Application received : 10/04/2017
Email Acknowledgement : 19/04/2017
Fingers Print : Not yet .
Approval letter : not yet .
BRP : Not yet .

hello hope u all doing well... i will be applying for ILR in the next week. as almost all of u have applied for ilr. csn you please guide exactely which documents you send along with your form and did you write a supporting statrment also in which you have briefly explaind what was your asylum all about that fear is still there. it will be great help uf u csn guidd me regarding that. thsnks in advance.. Hi Sundas,

You need to read the guidance and make yourself familiar with the application form, you require to send your travel document if you have one and your BRP plus two unseparated pics. at the last page of application you need to write your statement which if its more than one page, you can add extra pages. Remmeber to sign the last page and make sure you are entring your details correctly, READ THE GUIDANCE if you are applying on your own.

24/01/2017 HO received my application
02/02/2017 received email from HO
04/02/2017 received acknowledgment letter
06/02/2017 done fingerprint and picture for BRP
01/03/2017 received email from HO
Waiting---waiting---waiting

I think its been roughly 4 months of the date of your application, are you receiving the emails? do you have any updates?

In my opinion these changes are there since 2010 as u can read below passage
A Home Office spokesperson said: “There has been no change in our policy. Since 2010, we have granted settlement to more than 100,000 refugees. However, we have never operated a policy of automatic settlement.
“We consider every application for settlement on its individual merits and we’re clear that protection will be granted for as long as it is needed. The UK has a long and proud history of granting protection to those who need it and that is not going to change.”

The Home Office said that safe return reviews were introduced in February 2016 and guidance to staff was published 12 months ago on the department’s website. But the Home Office could not point to when their introduction had been announced to parliament or approved by MPs.
so I don't think anyone need to worry regardless their ILR.if reason/s still valid no need to worry , & we will all get ilr INSHALLA.

Hello .i applied 26th feb .got biomatric letter 6th march .biomatric done 8th march .could annyone please tell the changes on law on 9th march 2017 can effect after 9th march appliction or before 9th march

Hey salsabeel, I have received first email on the 7 of march and ho email that we received your application and on the 10 march I got acknowledgement letter with biometric and after that on the 5 of April I got another email that my application is under consideration so I'm expecting another email by next week.

There is not any way to track our application and waiting is the only option we have at the moment.
