1.17 Please provide your addresses for the past five years

I've searched the forum and haven't found an answer, any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm applying as a Spouse of BC under 3 year rule. I have lived in one address and filled in address and date moved in this address in section 1.16 - date being 7.8.11. Because of travel, my absences would not allow me to apply until 13.5.17.

Qu 1.17 requires addresses for the past 5 years. For the two years prior to 13.5.14 my permanent address was the address supplied at 1.16 but we travelled extensively. Once for 1 year, and the previous year a period of 4 months then 2 months away. We stayed in many hotels and a once with relatives. The property in the UK was never rented and we paid council tax and electricity and gas.

Any idea how to best answer 1.17?

No need to answer if your 'present' address in 1.16 covers 5 years.

I was concerned the passport checks would make it clear I was out of the country for long periods and wondered if that would cause confusion, ie. what was my addresses while out of the country?
