Acceptable referee for naturalisation

Post by manasi » Wed May 17, 2017 9:51 pm

Hi,
I am looking to apply for naturalisation.A british national will be one of my referee. Can a chartered physiotherapist working within NHS be accepted as a professional referee.
Also if I apply through NCS do they keep the original passport and brp with the application or do I get then back?

NCS will return your original documents once they have taken copies and certified them.
"Chartered" normally means registered with a professional body which is acceptable - can't find the list at the moment but should be ok.
This is just my opinion as a member of this forum and does not constitute immigration advice.
