Hi,
I made an appplication for futher leave to remain ( extension for 2.5years) I got confirmation that my application has been received and is with the caseworker and a decision will be made as quickly as possible, but 6 months later still no decision and the home office says it's still with caseworker, was wondering if it is possible to get a quicker response as I have a family emergency abroad.

Is this a spouse visa extension you have applied for? You have posted your question in the ILR sub forum.

No, it's on the grounds of private life. It's suppose to be a 10year route with extensions every 2.5years. It's was originally granted because I had spent more than half my life in the UK and I'm under 25.
