Queries on Workpermit extension and FLR(HRO)

Post by SKR241981 » Sun May 21, 2017 7:59 am

Hi,

I have the following queries on FLR(HRO) applying under illness/medical grounds.

If they have been already answered in the past, please share with me the old post link.

My husband has come to UK on Work Permit and due to expire in July 1st week. Due to some illness, he has to remain in UK further. I am in UK as dependent.

1. I would like to know if work permit can be extended with an assumption that he would be joining the work in the next 6months. If so, what documents would be required apart from NHS doctor letter. Please note that he is not working currently now.

2. Assuming work permit extension is not possible, is FLR(HRO) is the correct form to apply for further extension.

3. What all documents are required for submitting the FLR(HRO) visa to make the case stronger. I havent seen in the form requirement of medical letter but feel it is mandatory.

4. Can dependents work when the spouse is on FLR(HRO) visa.

5. How much duration(1 year or 2years etc..) this FLR(HRO) visa would be provided.

6. Will the dependents get multi entry FLR(HRO) visa.

Thank a lot for your support and a quick response is really appreciated.

regards,
SKR

When you say 'work permit', do you mean Tier 2 General visa?? There is no longer a 'work permit' visa, it was discontinued in 2008/09.

I meant ICT Tier 2 Long Term visa. That is the current visa and I termed it as work permit.

Queries on ICT Tier 2 Long Term visa and FLR(HRO)

Post by SKR241981 » Tue May 23, 2017 2:40 pm

Hi,

I have the following queries on ICT Tier 2 Long Term visa and FLR(HRO) applying under illness/medical grounds.

If they have been already answered in the past, please share with me the old post link.

My husband has come to UK on ICT Tier 2 Long Term visa and due to expire in June 20th. Due to some illness, he has to remain in UK further. I am in UK as dependent.

1. I would like to know if ICT Tier 2 Long Term visa can be extended with an assumption that he would be joining the work in the next 6months. If so, what documents would be required apart from NHS doctor letter. Please note that he is not working currently now and not earning the minimum threshold salary for long term visa due to illness.

2. Assuming work permit extension is not possible, is FLR(HRO) the correct form to apply for further extension.

3. What all documents are required for submitting the FLR(HRO) visa to make the case stronger. I haven't seen in the form requirement of medical letter but feel it is mandatory.
