Living With Parents (Council House) Need Help

Hi i live with my parents in a 3 bedroom council house.

what sort of accommodation proof do i need to apply for a settlement visa for my wife.

my parents dont seem to have a tenancy agreement and when they asked for one at the council customer service they just told my mother that they can let anyone who wants to live there.

I think permission in writing from parents and council allowing your partner to stay there along with house inspection report might need.

i can sort out the letter from parents and house inspection.

however the council wont write anything they just told my parents that they can let whoever they want to stay as long as there's sufficient space.

I think there would be no escape from taking official permission from council who are the main accomodation providers like landlords/agency in private renting.

thats just a mess. i need a letter and they wont provide me one . i need to find a way to obtain one

Have u managed to sort a letter from the council. I'm in the same boat and don't know where to go from here
