Requirements for Tier 2 General Dependant

Post by gepf612 » Tue May 23, 2017 7:00 am

Hello everyone,

I have an appointment for tomorrow and I just want to make sure that all my documents are correct.
Applying for: Tier 2 General Dependant (Under 18/Child, 3 years)
Applying from: Philippines

Is it okay if I submit a photocopy/scanned copy of the documents? According to the VFS Intro Scan Process, "Photocopies can be submitted provided they are clear and eligible" but it states in the "PBS Guidance for Dependants" that the original documents must be provided? I am confused. My mother's payslip and bank statements are photocopy/scanned but the rest of the documents are original.

As of today, here are the requirements that I have and also the questions:
1. Sponsor Passport Copy
2. Sponsorship Letter
3. WHAT ARE THESE "ANY ADDITIONAL DOCUMENTS"? It does not have a description.
4. Child Consent Letter (Special Power of Attorney and a Department of Social Welfare Department Authority to Travel with my Legal Guardian)
5. Salary Slips (My mother's 6 month salary slips)
6. Bank Statements (6 months bank statements)
7. Educational Certificate (My report card and other achievements/awards from school)
8. Employment Letter
9. Appendix II - Since I'm a Tier 2 General Dependant, do I need to fill this out? Please clarify.
10. Additional Information
11. TB Certificate
12. Birth Certificate
13. Tenancy Agreement

I also included some pictures of me and my mother to prove our relationship. Is that okay? I am also confused, what does CESC means? It is in one of the options.

Thank you! Your tips are very much appreciated!

My father died before I was born so my mother is listed as a single mother. I'm 13 years old.
