IHS Partial Refund

Hi friends,

I received a partial refund today for my second application after the first one was refused because important documents were not attached.

My timeline for the second application is:
Applied 6th Feb 2017
Biometrics 16th Feb 2017
Complex Letter 9th March 2017
IHS Partial Refund 19th May 2017 (£200 per person)

Do you know what this means and by when I should expect a decision.
I have read on the HO website that a partial refund is issued when your application is successful but you get less time on leave than what you asked for.

Please let me know if any of you have any information about this because it's been 7 months since my first extension application was made now...

I cannot find any, please post a link or tell what this generally means as it states on the website it is only given when the application is successful.

You will get your visa soon from dc courier
Best things to ring dx courier on Tuesday or Wednesday give your post code and surname they will straight tell you if they have your BRP and with them. But best things to wait at least 5 working days after got partial refund.
You definitely get visa soon.
It's reality based and recently my friends got it visa extended

Hello Amaso It could mean anything. Iam not sure if it is definitely a visa. Probably yes but someone just posted they got an interview letter. So Iam confused as well. Call the courier as our friend suggested. Maybe you have something.

Yes I called them in the morning. Nothing yet. Also called HO and they said it's still under process. My solicitor has asked to wait till Friday at least.

Partial refund happen when usually your application processed.
This does not guarantee that partial refund means you get visa, In my case i got partial refund after 9 months and finally refused for my first application.

So it could be both.So we can't say 100% Visa issue OR NO, you still in middle of the line. you have no option just wait little bit more time.
