ILR work restrictions

Post by Deeps129 » Thu May 25, 2017 2:38 am

I apologise in advance if this has been asked before (I had a look through the previous posts but could not find a related post) and I also apologise for the silly question I am going to ask even though I think I know the answer to this but still want to confirm it from people better informed than me.

In the following link I found
Table 4 - Occupations which are ineligible for Sponsorship in Tier 2 (General) and Tier 2 (Intra-Company Transfer) applications, due to skill level, but which may still apply to some indefinite leave to remain applications
and wanted to know what they meant by
but which may still apply to some indefinite leave to remain applications
?

Does it mean ILR holders need to sponsor to work or can they work in any place they please?

Thank you to all who reply in advance. :D

What you have quoted is for tier 2 general visas. If you have ILR you are free to work for anyone.
