Time spent in ICT short term counted towards the 5 year?

Hi Everyone,

I came to UK on a TIER 2 ICT Short Term Visa in 2015 which was was eventually converted into a TIER 2 ICT Long term visa after the short term visa expired in 2016.

Currently, i have a TIER 2 Long Term visa till 2018.

My question is that will the 1 year i spent in UK on a TIER 2 ICT Short Term Visa be counted towards the 5 years that i can spend in UK on a TIER 2 ICT Long Term Visa? In short, can i stay in UK on my current visa upto 2021 or 2020?

You can stay as long as your current visa is valid, which you have mentioned as 2018.

5 years on Tier 2 ICT Long Term which will take you to 2021
