Hi!
I am sponsored with a Tier 2 Visa which still has a long duration.
Due to unforeseen circumstances I will need to go back home for a reasonable period, but I will keep working remotely from there for the same company. If I were not to come back to UK again, I'd have my visa cancelled and keep working remotely. However, I will probably return to UK in the near future (maybe 1 year from now?).
Can I proceed to work remotely from abroad keeping my current visa in order not to undergo all the process (and fees) again? I would of course keep receiving my salary in my UK's bank account and pay all due taxes. I fail to see how there could be something wrong here, but I am checking just in case..
Of course I am aware this would break the continuous period for the leave to remain, but I am not concerned about this right now, just about the legality of keeping an UK visa while working abroad for an extended period, but coming back afterwards.
Is there anything wrong with this or anything I should be wary about?
Thanks.
