Do you know usually (on average) how long does it take to process Priority service for Tier 2 General (Switching employer) within the UK?

Good news Finally!

our passports arrived with UK Visa.
Application date: 21st Apr 17
Additional document requested : 09 May 17
Additional document submitted: 10 May 17
Passport arrived : 01Jun17

Can any expert help me? Please share your opinion.
I have submitted document: 13th April
Documents requested: 2nd May
I have sent the documents on: 4th May
10th May I called UKVI and the status was : Delayed, requires further verification.
29th May the status was : Work in Progress.
I am still waiting for any update. What is the difference between these two status? Does it mean they have completed the verification and now working on the decision?

1. From which location you have applied?
2. Have you got any email from UKVI? or from VFS? or got the passport directly?
