Tier 2 to Tier 4 visa

Hi, I am currently holding a Tier 2 visa and I will need to apply for Tier 4 soon as I will be doing a master degree starting in Sep. My question is: When I resign from my current employer they will need to report to Home Office to cancel my Tier2 visa/ COS (Certificate of sponsorship), I am wondering if this will affect my chance of success in getting the Tier 4 visa?

I don't think this that would have any impact on switching VISA. BTW which university and course are you applying for?
