Yes, tried that too and still nothing. Just says "we are not able to recognize this number etc"
Pixel, it doesn't work for me but the email I received the other day mentions that it's awaiting decision updated on 8th June.

All we can do is check VAF n GWF number on the tracker. It's awaiting decision on the tracker for 408691 to 408909.. I did a random check of numbers.

cutiieepiie wrote:Hi all,

Was just reading through the forum and came across many people are unable to track their application status using the online tracker. I was also having the same problem after trying GWF number and IHS number as it was saying not recognised. However, I tracked my application using the VAF number, which was sent via email FROM Sheffield when online application had been received by them. It is 6 digits. Hope this helps and works :)
So you just type the six digit number WITHOUT the VAF? or do you enter it as "VAF_123456"?

Nope, just tried it and still doesn't work for me :(

What was the update you received?
Hi pixelrage09,

Just the number itself without VAF.

Did you try it without putting VAF?

Ours says awaiting decision last updated 25th May.
Hi Miss UK,

Yeah from inside the UK

Good find Neo! I just checked it and you're right... BTW, my application number is in the 375xxx and been awaiting decision since 10-05-2017 according to UKVI email, but can't see it on the status checker.

What roll number are you on?

Is this a bit concerning why new york has it now? and sheffield didnt do it the whole time?

Have you applied under category F?

Hi neosprin.
Yes we applied category F .At time when applied I was employed and also self employed
Hi Neosprin.
I apply by combine category A and category F to meet financial requirement. I am employed and also self employed. As my self employment started only from middle of the year I combine both income to meet financial requirements. I read in guidance it is possible to meet this requirement to combine these two categories.
-And I submit my tax return from financial year 2015-2016
-Payslips from self employment
-Payslips from employment
P60
-Bank statements
-letter from employer
- cover letter explaining how met financial requirement and how it was calculated written by my accountant.
Now recently I read about SA302 which I missed as I had no knowledge about it and my accountant didn't mentioned anything too. I submitted enough documents to proof my income but these days it seems they are looking for anything small only find reason to refuse. UKVI haven't contacted me about there is anything missing from application yet and it has been already 4 months since applied. This SA302 it's so easy to request from HRMC but I didn't as I had no clue about it and I'm really worried now. Any advice please. Thank you.
In that case you can send the document mentioning your gwf number to be on the safer side. However, they usually get in touch if a document is missing. A few applicants have been asked to do that. You can mention that you have sent the document in a separate shipment when asked.

Hope all is well. I guess you've not heard anything yet? I haven't to now but understand my mp has sent a letter to the Sheffield ukvi account manager to understand what is going on with my wife's visa app and when a decision can be expected. We're on working day 79 today...

I've had a very nice letter (on official Houses of Parliament letterheaded paper) from the MP saying she will contact the account manager at UKVI in Sheffield to find out what is causing the delay and will also try to find out when a decision can be expected.

The MP has mentioned that the HO usually take 21 working days to respond to MPs enquiries but generally respond in 10 working days. The MP will contact me as soon as she gets something back.

In shaa Allah let's see where we get to...

Hi Maibm and All,
Good Evening All. I have couple of questions.....

Contacting MP:-
I have prepared my Letter to MP and want to send him.

How did you communicated your local mp ?
Did you met in person or sent an email ?
My mp office is near to my flat. Not sure can walkin directly without an appointment.

No.of Working days :-
Also how to calculate number of working days taking off bank holidays and weekends. For instance I have applied on 14-Dec-2016. How many working days as of today(i.e 21June2017)?

Please advise me on this.

I just checked and you are at 129 days. Home Office say that their time frame for 24 weeks is 120 days and you are 9 days over. You can check it here yourself as well: https://www.timeanddate.com/date/workdays.html

UK spouse visa on hold and massive delays

Post by tarunmsn1981 » Wed Jun 21, 2017 8:12 pm

Hi Raj & Pixel
Thank you very much indeed for your information.
I was under impression HO recently start delaying settlements visas but I am wrong. Since 2012 onwards many people face this massive delays. Teresa May and govt. screwed up and making
indefinite-leave-to-remain/how-to-write ... 39879.html

Hope and Pray HO expedite all our applications in a fruitful manner despite delay.
