Correct, but suggest take your P60s with you to the NCS appointment. Be prepared in case they are asked for rather than having to book another NCS appointment to submit again with them.

Ok I've got my national insurance record from the hmrc website so will print that off too, I would think that and employer record should be enough. As in requirements it says I need to show my national insurance contributions but in additional documents there's no requirements of employments history or p60 on the guidance notes, confusing!

Hi, I've been following this thread for my bc application soon.
Do you mind or is it allowed on here if you can please share the link where I can get my NI records printed? Thanks

I used this:
https://www.tax.service.gov.uk/gg/sign- ... individual
Then signed up, are you using this to show your national insurance contributions or are you supplying extra information?

I don't know yet... I've been reading the form/guide/booklet, and I can't see anywhere it is asking for evidence of work, only evidence of lawful residence and the usual passport, BRP, tests results, photo and referees, fees.
But I'd like to prepare for any eventuality.
I have asked in a different thread what does evidence of lawful residence means and awaiting reply.
Half tempted not to send my P60's in as they are not required for BC application...
What do you think?

I think lawful residence will just be your passport and brp should do. I'm including my employment history as it confirms what I have written in the form. I might include my last 3 years p60s as it shows my current employment? But your right nowhere does it say eveidence of employment required apart from in the notes it says evidence of national insurance contributions is required...

The govt. Loves to confuse us don't they? If we are asked to show NI contribution that's pretty much translate to me as evidence of employment! Self employed or not.
I suppose there is no harm in demonstrating that the bc applicants are working.
I think I'll probably add evidence of employment for the sake of it on my last leg having to deal with HO!

I'm with you mate because I'm just overthinking now! On the guidance notes it says you must show details of national insurance contributions (where you list current and previous employers) but then after that it's says supporting evidence can be payslips or p60s. But at the end where it says supporting documents payslips and p60s are nowhere to be seen! I'll bring some in case I guess, were probably overthinking it!

I've got another silly question now...if I've been living with my partner for 5 years do I tick the unmarried partner box or single? Do I need any evidence to show this?

Unmarried partner if there is such a box.
No need for evidence.

Please ask your questions in your own topic, not this one or a 'general discussion' thread. You have PR under the EEA route. The OP in this topic has ILR from the Ancestry visa route where the rules are different.

Sorry, I don't understand your post or what it is you didn't know?? My reply above yours was to user 'ribena'.
ILR is lost if absent from the UK for 2 or more years, citizenship is not. You also won't lose your Australian passport as both the UK and Oz permit dual citizenship.

I can't see myself leaving the uk for more than 2 years ever! I was just thinking about having ilr card and Australian passport for the indefinate future, although the passport lines at the airport do last longer for the non uk residents...

So what is really concerning you about the application?
It is far more straightforward than you think.
Were you previously registered on the forum under a different username? If so, what was it??

Why have you registered a new username instead of continuing with the other one? If previous username and password forgotten, no issue and we can deactivate that one for you.

Your other username account is active but can deactivate it for you. Strange that you cannot log in. What error message are you getting?
Only asking as I was going to send you a PM but your new username doesn't have PM access yet.

Ok, will deactivate the other one which is on a 'hotmail.com' email address.
You need 30 posts and then PM will automatically activate.

That'd be great thanks. I'm nearly on 30 posts I think! Regarding my biometric permit, if the ncs copied it and returned it for me so I can still use until I'm approved what would I write on the form?

Yes it will be returned to you and you only have to send it back to HO once you have attended your ceremony. You will also be free to travel while you wait for your application to be processed.
You tick 'yes' I believe, but you can leave it blank and ask NCS.
