Spouse Visa Expired / Overstayer / Apply via FLR M?

Post by Katuniq » Tue Jul 18, 2017 7:13 pm

Hi.
I have a big problem with my spouse visa. I've realized that it's expired. My agency told me that I have 3 years visa so honestly this is how I was counting the time to apply for my extension. It's expired 9 days ago. I spoke with citizen advise bureau and they told me that if I have a really good reason I can still apply witching 14 days. Well I don't have a good reason. It's my mistake. But I still wanna apply within that 14 days period. I will write a letter and explain everything. Would it work or there is no point to do so and it's better to go back home and apply from there for spouse again. But I think we don't have any reason to be regected except my 9 days overstaying. I couldn't find any guide for this situation in gov.uk. I had a job and we just moved to the new house. It's really unexpected situation and I've never had anything like this in my life. I always do everything on time. But not this time . What is the best way to do in this situation? How to apply?

That is not correct . 39E of the immigration rule has been in effect since the 24 November 2016.

I have spouse visa at the moment. I applied already for extension. Now I'm just waiting what they are gonna say. My reason for applying after the expiry date is not really strong as they want but other document are fine.
I don't have kids.
I also don't know if I can work. My employer keep saying come and work the policy of the company is fine about. But I stopped working coz lots of people and lowers told me that I'm not allowed to work. I was trying to find any information about working after your visa had expired but couldn't find anything which would help me. I need a proper evidences for my employer which would show that I can't work. If you know where to find it just please let me know.
