When To Apply

Post by snapitbik » Thu Jul 20, 2017 9:55 am

Dear Friend, Guru

I hope you are doing great. i am going to ask you one short question, Here is my Visa Timeline

Visa Granted UK 21 August 2007 : At September 7 2007 Arrived in UK
PSW Visa Granted in UK : May 2011
Tier 1 Ent Visa in UK : June 2013
Tier 1 Ent Visa Extension Extended: : August 2016 Valid until: 2018 September

Now looking at time line i will be eligible for 10 year rule by this year, so my concern is which date shall i count for 28 days before applying, will it be Visa Issue date which is August 2007 or will it be the date which i landed on UK. and another concern also currently i have my dependent with my current Tier 1 Ent Visa so when i apply for ILR does she need to apply for spouse visa on same day or will she be given time to apply.

I hope you understand my concern , waiting for speedy reply
Best Regards

For SET(LR) the starting date will be the date of entry to the UK. Your spouse has to switch to FLR(M) and her ILR clock will be reset to zero.
FLR(M) also has English language and income requirements
