Spouse Visa Application

Post by vholde346 » Fri Jul 21, 2017 5:14 pm

Hi everyone,

I really hope that somebody can help me. Basically, I am interested to know if the financial requirement is very much "black and white", either you meet it or you don't? I ask because I am on an hourly rate that does not meet the requirement amount; however I have accommodation that is provided to me by my employer, which is free of charge. This means that my pay is my own and I am more than capable of supporting my wife if she is able to relocate. If I was to accept a higher paid job in the same area but had to pay rent and bills, I would not be able to support her. If I provided a formal, headed letter from my employer explaining my financial situation, would I at least have a shot? If not, what are the options? We meet absolutely everything else. We have been together for ten years now and have a lot of proof of our relationship.

You must meet the financial requirement.
What is your hourly rate of pay and how many hours do you work per month/week?
How often are you paid? Weekly? Monthly? Every 4 weeks?
