My wife has ILR. For all intent and purposes, after July 08 she will have been out of the UK for two years accompanying me here in the USA on a work assignment.

If she returns to the UK before the two years has elapsed, and stays there for say three months in our home and then re-joins me in the US - will that legitimately reset her two year abscence clock?

We would only have to do this once because my contract finishes here in Dec 2009.
