I was wondering if someone could help me I was just trying to find out how long I have after my appointment for biometrics etc to send my documents in, is there a cutoff? I'm not talking about delaying for long it's just because my wife has to include a couple of documents she has in the UK, so want to make sure we don't run out of time if there is any limit.

2 Weeks as far as I am aware from the date biometrics are submitted.

2 weeks. The application process would have given you this information.
