Tier 2 General - Criminal Record certificate and TB test

Hi All,

I am applying for a Tier 2 General visa from India in August 2017 from Hyderabad, India.
My soc code is 2136 Programmers and software development professionals.

1. Do I need to submit criminal record certificate ?

2. I am applying for a priority visa. How many days it would take for knowing the decision and then to get the passport back ?

3. I am already in UK since the last 10 months. Do I need to submit a TB certificate?

4. The salary details are mentioned in the cos. Do I need to submit my offer letter as well as a proof for meeting the salary requirement for Tier 2 General?

5. My sponsor is my current employer. Do I get any issues even though the RMLT is done?

Any pointers would be really helpful. Please help.

YES

Actual processing times may vary depending on a range of factors

Yes As far as I know yes. I was in the UK for 3 yrs and still I have given my TB certificate

4. The salary details are mentioned in the cos. Do I need to submit my offer letter as well as a proof for meeting the salary requirement for Tier 2 General?

Yes you are right Visa Officer can see the salary in the COS but I would suggest if you can submit Offer letter and full job description.

5. My sponsor is my current employer. Do I get any issues even though the RMLT is done?

You do NOT need a police clearance document as your SOC code is not on the list of codes that require them.
