Dear all,
earlier this year I filled the paperwork for a simple certificate of residence, which was refused on the ground I didn't prove I had been a student the past four years. This was not asked but I guess we should have covered it anyway. All the rest seemed to be ok. On the refusal letter there was the mention that despite this refusal there was no action towards me leaving the country.
Today, after 3 months or so I receive a letter saying that they have come to the decision I was liable to removal as I have failed to prove I am exercising Treaty Rights.
Brexit has not happened, I am still a student as I have been accepted on a MAsters Course.
What should I do? How should I do it? They of course offer to appeal and pay another fee.
Married for 11 years to a Brit, chid is British, been living in Britain for four and a half years.
It is quite a hard news to receive and i don't want to rush anything.
thank you all for your help,
Phil
