Application FLR - self employed

Post by Nickfidge » Sun Aug 20, 2017 9:36 am

Meeting financial requirements- gross income £30000 net profit
£17500 taxable
Does this figure meet the financial requirements to sponsor my wife's requirements for FLR

No. Only the nett income qualifies and you appear to be £1,100 short of meeting the £18,600 p.a.

Does your spouse work?
Do you have savings over £16,000 which have been held in an accessible account for at least 6 months? You would need £19,750 in savings to make up the shortfall as the first £16,000 is disregarded.

Thanks for advise on this - so the Net taxable profit (£17000) self employement is added to my wife's PAYE (£10000) gross earnings - to obtain the final figure to meet the requirements
I haveTwo years Accounts as required- and Tax returns -overviews- SA302 - HMR registered self employed
