Hi here is my friends time line

Application Based On: 5years residency (married to Eu citizen)

Application received On: 20th June 2016
Acknowledgement : Took almost 4 weeks after they received application.

He had hard time no second letter
We to TD then CITZ asked for daughter birth certificate
Few days later they asked for his passport to see again.

Second Letter: After all this got a letter that he is on second stage around mid February..
Awaiting On Approval: Today he got his approval 23/08/17
Given 10days time to pay 950 and GNIB.
I m just happy for him it's over.
So guys don't give up

Finally received approval: dated 23rd Aug 2017 (arrived at home addr on 25th Aug morning).

They gave 10days to pay €950 to be included in next Citizenship Ceremony.

I applied my citizenship application on the 26 October 2016.
Application received on 02/11/2016
Second stage letter received 21/03/2017 stating that your application has now been initially assessed and has proceeded to the second stage of processing your case will be submitting to the Minister for decision as soon as our enquiries are complete and all required documentation has been compiled. It is anticipated that all standard application now being received, i.e less complex cases accounting for more than 70% of all applications. Could anyone explain me what do they mean by this?
23/07/2017 asked to update my GNIB status
27/07/2017 got the letter confirming that they got my correspondence.

Applied On: 30th August 2016
Application received On: 14th September 2016
Letter received on 7th of February 2017 : Asking for Three proof of Addresses with my wife for the last three months within 28 days. Sent within a week.
Second Letter Received: Dated 17th of February 2017 (saying application proceeded to the 2nd stage)
Updated them with my GNIB Status in May 2017.
Received letter of correspondence on 29th of May 2017: Received a letter by post for the confirmation of correspondence and saying application continues to be processed and will be contacted with you in due course.

Approval: 7 September 2017 asking to send €950 + photos in next 10 days and to wait for ceremony invitation (I suppose Oct 16th one, although that's just a guess).

My time line
Applied: September 2015 based on spouse of Irish
Thr was mix up in my application and thy claimed that we were not married 3 years at the time of application which is incorrect.
Recived a letter: April 2017 had to re apply

Applied: 4th may 2017
Recived a acknowledgedment and return of passport, and they requested more documents: 20th May
Sent of all documents:4th June.
Recived a letter requesting additional document: 29th June
Sent back all documents 18th July.
Haven't heard from them since not even an acknowledgement letter but got confirmation by phone that thy recieved the documents.
I called Thursday to see what was happening with my application. Was told a letter was sent out "yesterday" which was Wednesday.
Still haven't recieved that letter
??????

Sent an them and asked about the letter they sent me an attachment of the letter that was issued.
Second stage letter: dated 13th September. Still haven't recived it.

My last time line.

App based on non eu with eufarm card 5 years:

App date: 24/11/2016

Ack: 12/12/16

Second letter: 11/07/2016

Approval: 21/09/2016

I am requested to send €950 fee, which I will do when I get a chance and will post on here once I receive my invitation letter

Just to add, in case it will help anyone in the future, I had 2 court case/fines for parking on double yellow lines and 9 speeding points on my licence. But I declared everything on the app form.

My advice to anyone, declare your misfortune, no matter how bad it seems and you won't have anything to worry about!
