Dont get upset bro, i am sure ,according to ur timeline,u will hear GOOD NEWS next 15 to 20 days.i am assuming that i applied 24th march and it took totally 5 months as my online status changed to decided on 24 aug so look at ur submitted time frame and u have idea when u complete ur fully 5months,but dont forget HO also working speedy on single .applicant,file. I applied as single applicant. so hope for the best

If that statement is not true and you have only applied for ILR less than 3 months ago, suggest read the whole topic, members are waiting 5 or 6 months sometimes longer for a result.

Solicitors are asking for 100 plus to seek some advise per hour and the ILR question was for my self however the married question was for a friend of mine. Sorry about this confusion. Your ILR application will take as long as HO needs to take. There is nothing you can do to speed it up. Set(P) are not as straightforward as normal ILR applications. HO won't give any update or details unless 6 months has passed.

I have come across this website by chance.
Having had a look, i feel like my case is slightly different.
I sent my ILR application (Set P) on August 21, delivered on August 22. However, i haven't got a confirmation email or letter.
I was wondering if anyone else has not received such confirmation and if it is possible to call the Home Office to seek this confirmation.

2nd many people dont get acknowledgement letter or email,so dont worry about it but
just pay attention on ur biomatric letter which is also proof of acknoeledgement and ur posting application too.

THANKS and wish u very best of luck for ur application.
Firstly dont distress urself bro/sister and i am not immigration expert but try to answer ur question.
Set p application form is very simple and i filled it by my own and i think 99% people fill by own too.In my view, if you do not have any negative records and if your asylum case was strong, you dont need any solicitor and should get the decision within 6 months.
just send them all relevant proof evidance that make ur claim,s reason strong and still valid.(dont send them that papers they already have ,HO stated on form too)
Also send them all requested documents .
But again it all up to u if u wanna see solicitor regarding ur application.
Once again dont need to worry and i am sure u will get positive decision too.

ILR issue date is the date it is decided/approved and NOT the date of application or submission.
