Visa to Sweden

Hey!
Im a Danish citizen. Soon im going to live in Sweden, and therefor I use the EU rules.
My husband is fra Algeria, and I want him to come for a visitor visum so we can see each others while we are searching for family reunification.

I have been reading a lot in this forum about rejected visums.
Now Im nervous if its possible to get this visum for my husband to Sweden - what could be the reason for rejected visum?

Your husband can apply the visa to join you in Sweden. Rejection depends on personal circumstance. You should attach all documents with your application. Insurance, hotel booking, bank statement etc.

So this means, that he needs to have an insurance from Algeria to travel to Sweden?
