FLR-financial requirement 6 months payslip

Post by sherb » Sat Sep 02, 2017 3:01 pm

Hi,

I would be applying for my spouse visa and daughter's dependent visa extension soon, Please can someone guide me on the financial requirements ?
I make only 17500 annually, so I need to include my partner's income. but its slightly complicated as he has not been with the same employer for the last 6 months. He has a private pension of 2997 annually.

1) Would that be a problem if the payslips are from different employers?
2) He had to undergo a surgery and was off sick from work, but the company was paying him the statutory sick pay is this accepted ?
3)His annual income is 20000, so combined it would meet the financial requirement.

Thanks in advance
regards

If your partner is also working but less than 6 months with present employer then simply choose category B. Where the combination of your both incomes should fulfill the both parts of financial requirement. Firstly the combination of your both earnings during the last 12 months should be £18600 and secondly the average combination of your both earnings during the last 6 months from all previous job/jobs should also meet the financial threshold which should usually be at least £9300.

Alternatively if you working with present employer from 6 months then to meet the shortfall (18600-17500)= £1100 then if either of you have savings around £1100×2.5+16000=18750 then simply use category A route only with your earning only.

Thank you for the reply.

So I can combine both mine and my partners salary ?
I have been with the same employer for the last 10 months.
My partner was with 2 diff employer in the last 6 months and the pay he had received was all different.

I understand he goes under category B and I will have to apply under category A. I was not sure if you could combine A&B.

Kind Regards

this is what is found in Appendix FM financial requirements

page 30,5.5.5. Where the applicant is in the UK with permission to work and they are combining their employment income with their partner’s employment income to meet the financial requirement, both employment incomes must be calculated under either Category A or Category B. The couple cannot use a combination of Category A and Category B to meet the financial requirement.

please can anyone guide me on this please

Thank you for the quick response.
Does that mean, I can choose category B, even though I have been with the same employer for more than 6 months ?
It's confusing I have been reading the Appendix FM financial requirements and that does not give more details on category B.
