Can anyone tell what happens if CAS is used. Is the decision favourable. When should I expect my visa.? This is killing me. My uni gave me extension till October 2nd.

A CaS is marked as used whether the visa is refused or approved. It is not an indication that your visa will be granted.

Call them or may be due to weekend. Normally they are supportive.

My university has informed me that my CAS was used on Sept 1st. Hopefully, I would receive my visa with in a week. fingers crossed.

Hi guys
I've been following particular topic since yesterday. It felt frustrating while reading others situation.

Applied for Tier4 Visa on 1st August at Lahore,VAC. Got a confirmation email of receiveing online application on 8th of the following. Then on 18th, writing we could not able to process your application in certain timeframe.

Last week received a call from VAC asking me to bring all supporting documents again for rescanning Cuz UKVIC got issue from their side thus they have not received any supporting document.

I emailed my university to check wheather my CAS is still assigned or Been used. Reply was frustrating as my CAS has not been used yet.

My course start date is 25th of September. Only 13 working days are left in it.
So frustrated

I experienced the same. I had my biometric on 11th august. git mail that application recieved at decision making center on 20th August. Got another mail from ukvi saying it will take more than 15 working days. on 28th august got a call from VAC saying to come for rescanning as last scan was pathetic and ukvi is unable to view your docs. I had rescanning same day. Checked CAS status on 8th August and it has been changed from Assigned to USED

Guys Was this scanning issue specific to one VAC ? Bcuz I'm waiting for 8 weeks now but they said its peak time that's why it's taking long , they never mentioned scanning issue
