What Visa extension my wife will need?

Post by jai23155 » Sun Sep 10, 2017 12:41 pm

Hi, Me n wife both extended our visas in Sept 2014 as Tier 2 General and dependent visa respectively. Last year, I applied for ILR as I was eligible (under 5yrs route) but I didn't extend my visa as she still had one more year left on the visa. Now, I need to extend my wife's visa. What visa application I need to do? I am on ILR. I can only see Tier 1 and 5 Tier 5 PBS dependent when I search for 'PBS dependent'. A link to the application would be really helpful. Thanks

Did you apply for ILR under the 5 year route or under 10 year long residence?

In which case, your wife can extend her PBS Dependent visa. Link to online application below:

Thanks, Casa. I got the answer from your other response here uk-tier-2-employer-sponsored-visas/depe ... 16556.html

On other note, Zimba, applying as Tier 1 General Dependent costs a bomb and am not sure if that info is right. Are you sure?

I am just filling the application for my wife and it says 'you must have had at least £630 for the consecutive 90days.' but I had this balance in my bank account like the last time. My wife has visa until 26-09-17. What should I do?

You need to provide maintenance evidence as before, in your account and for 90 consecutive days

Ok. Just to be clear, it doesn't have to be my wife's account Although she is the applicant??

Currently, the funds are in my account .
