Mother visa application help!!

Post by shaakahaari » Sun Sep 10, 2017 2:48 pm

Hi all,

I am asking on behalf of my brother who is a British citizen married to a British citizen partner. Our mother is widowed in Pakistan and living on her own. He need to apply for her visa. My sister is married in Pakistan. I am is living in UK on student visa. He is salaried person and own a house in UK. Our mother has never been to UK before. Both of us send her monthly expenses. We do not have any of the saving there in the form of cash. We have some properties which are in my dad's name who had died few years back. Also, we have our own house in Pakistan.

He would like to sponsor her and need some help regarding what documents to show from my side and proving her ties back home as well or is there any other category under which he can apply considering our mother is alone there.

Thanks

I have cleaned it up and edited your first post. Happy now??

There is no route that your mother can come on the UK Immigration route. Visitor visa is about the easiest (which also isn't that easy anymore either for elderly parents).

Settlement visa is bound to fail, very difficult to get.

Visitor visa is fine for us. What documents does my brother need to submit? He wants to sponsor. He is expecting baby. If you can provide my any link for guidance, it will be appreciated.

What evidence will your mother submit to prove her strong ties to her home country?

Suggest click on the 'visitor' link vinny provided earlier in this topic.

We do not have financial ties. Me and my brother support our mother. We have one sister who is married and all of our relatives are back home. We have a house which is in my grandmothers name. She has died. Also, we have rented one portion of the house generating income. We do not have any sort of strong bank statement.
