Revived bio metric today for another 2.5yrs

My case was a little complex because my ex ended our relationship, we have 2 British children, I came to the UK as a child and have been here for 17 years. I met someone else (British citizen) and got married on vacation overseas we have twin babies who also has British passports. I didn't apply as a spouse due to income so applied as a parent of a British children.

I haven't received the paparework as yet so I'm unsure what grounds it's granted on.
