PBS Dependent Visa extension and English NARIC requirements

Hi Friends,

My wife( PBS dependent) is planning for visa extension by end of this year.As per our understanding, she has to extend her visa as PBS dependent instead of FLR extension to avoid reseting the ILR clock.

Kindly provide the link to extend as PBS dependent online.

Also For English Requirement - she is planing for NARIC certificate.but while registering for NARIC - what options to be selected. it shows as PBS Tier 1,2,4,5 and Family. Since she is holding PBS dependent visa currently, should be family or should it be Tier 2 PBS route ?.If family and settlement selected,then it means FLR related engilsh requirement ? bit confused with this selection.

On what basis did you obtain ILR, 5 years PBS or 10 years long residence?

There is NO English requirement for PBS Dependents. English requirement is for FLR(M) or spouse settlement visa.

Hi Friend,

I have got my ILR on the basis of Tier 2 ICT+General G with 5 years basis. my spouse visa is PBS dependent which is due to renew by end of this year.

Hence checking what are the requirements before applying including English language.

I hope this holds same for PBS dependent visa extension time line whose main applicant was Tier 2 and now ILR with 5 years route.

I had found this document but was looking for extension related document rather common(PBS Dependent).

There are no specific requirement apart from Maintenance fund while extension of PBS.

Thanks for making me to read it again carefully.

So in my case,funds should be 950(main applicant who is ILR now) + 630(PBS dependent extending visa) for 3 months on date of application.

Minimal documents are required. Evidence of subsisting marriage/cohabitation is required as well, which is why I posted the Tier 1 Dependent link.
