Um,,,,I will refrain from making sarcastic remarks as is normally my nature....but, I would assume that if you are illegally in a country, and have no documentation, you are NOT going to have any chance of getting a work permit. Its hard enough as it is when you go about it legally, my friend, so I would suggest if you want to do it that badly, go to whereever it is you ARE legal, and apply from there.

Though, it would probably be easier to help you if you give more details as to your situation, like where you are from, how long you have been in the UK, etc etc, what you are doing now

In a word: No.

You used the word "possible," which sort of opens the discussion into bizarre circumstances and forged work permits. But as far as the intent of your question, No. There is no legal way to normally go about getting a work permit if you are an undocumented alien in just about any country.

In the United States under the current political climate ... about tenfold moreso.

Your best possibility is to get out of the country without being documented as having been in the country illegally. Then try to come back in legally.

If you've been in the U.S. for more than 12 months illegally, it is an automatic ten-year ban from re-entry, and after ten years the chances will still be terrible.

On your way out, do everything possible to ensure 1) there is no documentation of your illegal presence in the country or 2) that if any documents exist, they should clearly show that you were in the country for less than 12 months.

Under option 2) you have the possibility to come back in after three years, possibly less if you were in the country for less than 30 days. Also, under option 2), you absolutely will want to have copies of documents ... they will be valuable when you try to come back in later.

If you have any criminal charges against you, the situation will become very grave instantly. So make sure there are none. For ANY reason.

If you fill out any forms, such as visa applications, DO NOT LIE. ANY proof that you've lied on immigration forms, and your opportunities for entry into countries worldwide will become VASTLY more difficult, and often impossible.
