Still waiting for a decision.....

After chasing UKVI several times for a decision letter,we finally got the letter by email today .Our Application was refused because I left My husband two days after our wedding and why didn't I visit him or why didn't he make an effort to visit me..ECO noted that I was pregnant at that time and I had our child in uk .He was satisfied with everything apart from the fact we haven't any asset together,and not visited each other for more than one year .I am definitely going for an Appeal.
Because I am a full time student ,I work ,I spent 3 weeks with my hubby before our wedding,we just got married a year ago so how can we have assets together?our only asset is our child and I could not travel in and out of Africa with heavy pregnancy .
Guys,do you think appeal is the best option for me please?

Hi Emm- Really sorry to hear this. But 100% you should go for appeal. Believe me i have read many cases they won complicate cases. Your's sounds easy one. I dont know how dumb the ECO. He definitely be a Sadist as he refused on the above silly reasons. Dont worry 100% u will win. No doubt in that.

Even though we are told not to go to the TLS center unless instructed to, has anyone had any experience going there without getting any email or update on the TLS website? I am just concerned that I was sent a survey email without getting any actual update about my application via email/TLS. Thanks.

Do any of you think that involving the MP would have any impact on the application in terms of speeding it up and getting a decision sooner? It has been over 24 weeks- 6 months giving us a solid reason to go the MP. I have gathered that HO would reply very quickly giving the predicted forecast as to when the decision will be made. I fear contacting HO via the MP might take a u-turn on our application and we would face further delays.

I've done what you suggested a few weeks back when we hit the 6 month barrier. I got a reply back from my MP saying he has sent a request to them nd will get back to me in 15-20 days (as is the HO time scales)

I don't think it will make any difference to the application. It might get you a specific reason for the delay.

120 days plus still waiting...after reading Emm's response, starting to get worried as I only spent 6 days with my spouse after the wedding. Also haven't been back in 12 months...(submitted application exactly 6 months after wedding)

So, decided to go to the TLS center today. Lots of people in my situation were there too. Not available yet unfortunately. Got a paper with a generic message on it

"This is the busiest time of the year for processing UK visa applications. In most cases UK Visas and Immigration(UKVI) is meeting service standard timescales, however in a number of cases it has not been possible to do so....if you need your passport returned or have another urgent enquiry please call us on... Thank you for your understanding"

I didn't get any email but in march I got letter from HO not straight forward ur case !! After that they said ur visa on hold !!
