Extension of spouse visa but 30months not completed

Hey i got my spouse visa on 4feb2015 and have to reapply by 4nov2017 but as i didnt know about this clause until now so i had been travelling alot a total of 4months and 1 week so im short of 1month and 1 week to apply for extension of spouse visa what do ive to do now do i need to apply any other visa or flr M visa only what difference does this 30months completion makes if i havnt fulfilled it
Will they reject my visa if i apply for extension of spouse visa as ive just done 28months amd 1 week in uk
Thankyou any help will be highly appreciated

Reasonable absences are permitted when on a spouse visa. Apply for FLR(M) in the normal way.

I dont know if general travelling to your home country is counted as reasonable thats why confuse there shouldnt be any issue right or should i call and ask them once?

There won't be an issue with the absences you have mentioned.

Also bear in mind that the HO 'help line' which is managed by an outside agency with poorly trained staff, is notorious for giving incorrect advice and they take no responsibility for the consequences. Call them 10 times and you're like to be given 10 different answers. :idea:

Good to know that absence during a 2.5 year visa shouldnt be an issue. Is this for FLR(M) too?

On your last point, it seems to be worthwhile to record the telephone call and if the questioner acts upon incorrect advice from the "help line" then, should a problem then arise as the result of bad info, the caller may have a defence?
